Direct Bac Water’s 10 mL bacteriostatic water is US-made sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/mL) as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied in a sealed 10 mL multiple-dose vial. It is the mid-size generic vial, between the 3 mL and 30 mL sizes. A single vial costs $10.50, and packs of up to 100 bring the price down to $6.50 a vial.

10 mL vs 3 mL vs 30 mL

Three 10 mL vials hold as much as one 30 mL vial, and one 10 mL vial holds just over three times as much as a 3 mL vial. All three contain 0.9% benzyl alcohol. The 10 mL vial suits regular use where a 30 mL vial would stay open longer than you need.
